RefWorks is a Web-based bibliography and database manager that allows you to create your own personal database by importing references from text files or online databases. You can use these references in writing your papers and automatically format the paper and the bibliography in seconds. If this is your first time using RefWorks, you will need to sign up for an individual account by creating a personalized login name and password.
Using Write-N-Cite from off campus
To use Write-n-Cite from off campus, you must load the WNC Proxy Configuration Utility by doing the following in Windows XP:
After running the utility, when you launch Write-N-Cite you will be directed to the library's proxy server to login to RefWorks Write-n-Cite using your netID and password. After entering your netID and password, you will need to enter your RefWorks ID and password.

EndNote has the ability to find full text of material within your EndNote database. To increase the odds of EndNote finding the full text, you need to include the OpenURL Path and authentication URL in your EndNote Preferences (under the "Find Full Text" section)
